This photo is for those of us who feel that, more often than not, they just don’t photograph well. The camera seems to ignore our finer qualities, while capturing forever the less desirable qualities.
This picture of our cattle dog, Tiki Tavi, captures a micro-expression—a moment of, um, irritation, as she struggles out of a deep snowdrift. The poor Mighty Lion (ie the brown dog) received the brunt of Tiki’s frustrations, because he dared to be a smidgen too close to Her Majesty Tiki Tavi.
Tiki has a lovely personality. Really.
So if you’re photogenic—good for you. This photo is for the rest of us who know we are lovely people and prefer to burn that unflattering photograph we’re in.
