Strawberry Season

It’s been a great strawberry season. We transplanted the runners to a new patch, because the old strawberry patch was supposed to die.

It didn’t. So now we have two strawberry patches. It requires 4 people picking for 1 hour every other day to keep up with. That’s a good problem! These are ever-bearing plants so I’m not sure if we can keep this pace up forever.

The berries started out small and gnarly (as pictured) and developed into bigger, juicier berries.
